Romeoville Shooting in Illinois Injures Mother And Daughter (VIDEO)

Police Chief Mark Turvey talks about a double shooting that prompted a precautionary lockdown at Romeoville schools in Illinois.

Turvey said investigators haven’t yet determined a motive for the shooting of a 33-year-old woman and her 15-year-old daughter as they were getting ready to go to school.

The two were shot around 7 a.m. Thursday as they were getting into an SUV in their driveway in the 300 block of Emery Avenue.

The lockdown was lifted around 9:30 a.m.
