Tonight, the Filipinos watched as Michael Christian Martinez made history when he performed at the Sochi Winter Olympics 2014 Men’s Figure Skating event. Coming from a country with no snow, he is the first figure skater ever to represent a Southeast Asian nation.
He scored 33.31 (Element) and 31.5 (Component), which gave him a total of 64.81. His score has qualified for the final event. Good job Michael Christian Martinez!
