Usually, all stores will open at 9 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and will open again for business the nest day, January 2.

All stores will be closed on New Year’s Day.

    So COSTCO was closed on January 1, 2013. Will it be closed on January 1, 2014? And will this be a paid holiday for the employees?
