Indian Woman Gives Birth To 10 Babies In One Night

The 28-year-old woman in Madhya Pradesh, from India, made a world record for giving birth to 10 babies in one night. All were stillborn. A stillbirth occurs when a foetus has died in the uterus.

According to the report, the Indian woman delivered nine of the premature offspring late Sunday night before she arrived at a hospital and delivered the 10th baby.

All of the babies were stillborn at 12 weeks.

Also, the report said that fertility drugs may have caused the unusually high multiple pregnancy.

“Octomom” Nadya Suleman currently holds the Guinness World Record for most surviving children delivered in a single birth. She gave birth to eight babies in 2009.
