Arapahoe High school Shooting Centennial – Colorado School Shooting! All Schools In Littleton Colorado In Lockdown After High School Shooting Authorities believe at least two people have been injured in a shooting Friday at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado, Sheriff Grayson Robinson told CNN affiliate KMGH.

The shooter is still believed to be inside the school, Robinson said.

Dozens of children could be seen walking away from the school, with their hands in the air. Some stood in lines at what appeared the high school track field, where they appeared to be undergoing police pat-downs.

Parents were being asked to go to an area church, Shepherd of the Hills, to meet their children, the sheriff said.

The high school, with a student population of 2,229 students, has 70 classrooms. The school, which was built in 1964, is part of the Littleton Public Schools system.

All schools in the system have been put on lock down, authorities said.

Outside Arapahoe High School, police blocked roads leading to the campus.

The school is about 10 miles from Littleton, where Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 12 students and one teacher in a rampage at Columbine High School in April 1999.
