New Cockroach Asian Species Invades New York City (VIDEO)

Yes, there is a new cockroach species that is currently invading New York City. The gigantic Asian cockroach aka Periplaneta japonica can survive outside in freezing temperatures.

Biologists said that the cockroach may have arrived in New York in the soil of one of the plants along the High Line, which first opened in 2009 and is still partially under construction.

Results of this new discovery were detailed in the Journal of Economic Entomology.
