Tornado Hits Negros Occidental Philippines, Damages Houses

In a report from ABS-CBN, a tornado hit Negros Occidental Philippines on Tuesday, destroying 34 houses. The twister specifically hit Brgy. Bantayan in Kabankalan City.

Residents said that they felt the ground shook as the twister damaged houses in their barangay. Some houses were damaged because of fallen trees.

The barangay chairman of Brgy. Bantayan was not spared from the calamity. The roof of his house was removed due to the strong wind.

The City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) conducted a survey in the affected barangay.
