Cannonball Run Record – New York City To Los Angeles Driving Time Set Anew (VIDEO)

The Cannonball Run record has been set anew. On Saturday, October 19, 2013, Ed Bolian and team drove an averaged 98 mph in a Mercedes-Benz CL 55 AMG, from New York City to Los Angeles, in 28 hours and 50 minutes, with a distance of 2,813.7 miles.

The new record beat the previous one set by Alex Roy in 2006 when he made the trip in 31 hours 4 minutes by over two hours. See the Cannonball Run route above.

Dave Black and Dan Huang, volunteered to join Bolian in his ambitious mission as co-pilot and spotter, respectively.
