Nevada School Shooting: Deaths Reported At Sparks Middle School (VIDEO)

Police are responding to reports of a shooting at Sparks Middle School in northern Nevada. A Sparks police dispatcher says the call came in at 7:16 a.m.

Update: According to the Washoe County School District Police, two people are dead and two more are injured in a shooting at Sparks Middle School in northern Nevada Monday morning.

The suspect in the shooting has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, City Manager Shawn Carey says. Another person — who was not identified — also was killed, police say.

Angela Rambo, a spokeswoman for the Renown Regional Hospital, said both patients injured in the shooting were males, the Reno Gazette-Journal reports.

Sparks is a city just east of Reno.
