MetJet Flight Operations To End Effective October 25, 2013

All MetJet Flight Operations will be ending soon. The small De Pere based charter flight company announced that it will be shutting down and cancelling all flights effective October 25, 2013. Read the complete announcement below.

It is with great sadness that MetJet is announcing that effective October 25, 2013, the company will be cancelling all flight operations, starting with the flights on October 26, 2013. This includes all flights operated as a public charter, under the “MetJet” name, into and out of Green Bay, WI, Fort Myers, FL, Cancun Mexico, Minneapolis, MN, and Orlando, FL.

MetJet will be operating its flights, as scheduled, on October 16, October 19 and October 23. For information regarding these flights call (855) 563-8538. When dealing with our staff, please remember that the cancellations are not their fault, and they are working to assist everyone as quickly as possible.

MetJet was founded with the intention of providing the best customer service to its passengers, while bringing nonstop service from cities like Green Bay to key markets. Over the last year we have been able to create the most amazing customer base through our amazing service, but as we look at the months ahead it is clear that we do not have enough demand, or customers, to continue operating. Likewise, as most of our passengers are from Green Bay we know that this is affecting our families, friends and neighbors. MetJet was meant to be a great thing for the communities we serve, and we apologize for every inconvenience we have caused.

REFUNDS MetJet is preparing refunds for those passengers that qualify. Refunds will be issued to the credit card that was used to make the purchase. If you have questions:

METJET VACATIONS If you have a reservation for a resort, hotel or Disney Vacation booked through MetJet Vacations, these reservations are not affected (excluding the MetJet flights)…though we are happy to address all questions. All payments for these hotels or resorts were made directly with the hotel and resort, which are independent of MetJet.
