Box Office Sales For Weekend Ending October 13, 2013
The movie Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, kept its hold at the #1 spot for this weekend’s box office sales. “Gravity” earned an additional $44.3 million, raising its domestic total to $123.4 million.
Sony’s “Captain Phillips” launched in second place with $26 million.
Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Rentrak. Final domestic figures will be released Monday.
