Are Banks Open on Columbus Day 2013
Are banks open on Columbus Day 2013? Monday is Columbus Day, a federal holiday. It is the day we celebrate the anniversary of Christopher Columbus’ arrival to the Americas on October 12, 1492.
Some banks will be open, some will close for the day.
Big banks such as Chase, Wells Fargo, and TD Bank may be operating under normal business hours. Please check your local bank schedules for more info.
In addition, Monday, October 14, 2013 is a USPS holiday. Thus, all United States post offices will be closed and there’s no mail delivery.
