Alaska Earthquake August 2013 Measures 7.0

Alaska was hit by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake Friday morning. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake happened about 8:25 a.m. Alaska time, and it was centered about 55 miles southeast of Adak, Alaska.

There have been no immediate reports of damage.
