Walmart Shooting in Neenah Wisconsin: One Woman Hurt
Update on the Walmart shooting today. A female employee of Walmart was shot by another woman about 11:15 a.m. in the liquor section of the store at 1155 W. Winneconne Ave.
Police have taken the suspected shooter into custody. Lt. John Karner told Post-Crescent Media that police think the women knew each other, and there is no threat to the public.
The victim, a clerk in the liquor section, was taken by ambulance to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. Police have not released her condition. She was shot in the torso. No customers were in the liquor section at the time of the shooting.
The entrance to the liquor section is blocked with crime scene tape and six Neenah police vehicles are at the location, including a crime scene investigation truck. The rest of the store remains open.
Update: The victim is in critical condition in the hospital and the shooter is already behind bars.
