Sisters Ejected From Mall For Wearing Cancer Hats
Is it justifiable? Three sisters were ejected from the King of Prussia Mall in Philadelphia for wearing what they call “cancer” hats with a word of profanity printed on them.
Sisters Zakia and Tasha Clark, and Makia Underwood wore hats that had a one-word profanity — with a pink ribbon substituting for the third letter — before the word cancer. Their mother died last week after battling the disease. They say it is their way of expressing their hatred of breast cancer.
The sisters refused to take the hats off when security personnel asked them. They were then ejected from the mall.
The mall already issued a statement saying that the mall is a family place where the code of conduct does not tolerate profanity.
