FBI shared the first photo of what is now called the pressure cooker bomb.
An intelligence bulletin issued to law enforcement and released late Tuesday showed what remains of a pressure cooker after it exploded during the Boston Marathon on Monday.
The FBI said it has evidence that indicates one of the bombs was contained in a pressure cooker with nails and ball bearings, and it was hidden in a backpack.
Pressure cooker explosives have been used in international terrorism and have been recommended for lone-wolf operatives by al-Qaida’s branch in Yemen.
