Rep. Steve Cohen may have been affected by the media attention his tweet about Cyndi Lauper has caused that he deleted the tweet. The “Cyndi Lauper ‘hot’ tweet” was posted as a praise for pop rocker singer when she performed at the White House for the Memphis Soul event on Tuesday.
Here is what Cohen tweeted: ‘@cyndilauper great night,couldn’t believe how hot u were.see you again next Tuesday.try a little tenderness.’
Cohen deleted the message later.
Another tweet from Cohen included a praise for Justin Timberlake, ‘Very proud of#Memphis music in White house #JustinTimberlake.’
