Man Thrown From Plane: Search For Body Continues
The search for the body of a man who was thrown out of the plane at an altitude of 2,500 feet still continues. The unnamed man was taking a flying class in Tennessee on Friday, March 29 when the canopy of the Zodiac 601 aircraft came off. According to the Collegedale Municipal Airport, the instructor’s seat belt was fastened but not the man’s.
The uninjured pilot, who wished to remain unnamed in the media, safely landed the plane and alerted authorities of the trainee going missing upon touching ground.
Police are now trying to locate the GPS signal from the man’s phone in hopes of finding the body in surrounding woods and fields.
