Man Tattoos Pit Bull And Faces Complaints (PHOTO)
Can you tattoo your pets? A man, Ernesto Rodriguez, tattooed his five-month-old pit bull on the belly and then posted the photo on Facebook.
The dog’s tattoo included the dog’s name, Dutches, and a crest representing the animal’s bloodline.
What he got in end? Criticisms from animal lovers and a visit from the animal control.
Rodriguez said, “What do they do when they brand animals and tattoo horses on their ear and brand their cow? You’re not abusing them. You’re just protecting them so they don’t get lost”.
“If you go on Google and type up dog tattoos, you’ll get a thousand images of dogs tattooed. This has been going on for years,” Rodriguez added.
After authorities inspected his pit bull, he posted on Facebook:
“Here is the final result for you haters out there… Animal control came looked at my beautiful dog and left…. wow… what a waste of tax payers money… so im still gonna tattoo my dogs when ever i feel like it… good try haters thanks for all the advertisement (sic).”
Number one IDIOT!! First of all if the dog is an AKC registered chances are that it is not pure bred. The AKC has really dropped its standards by accepting registrations online without proof of pedigree and they will issue a certification. Fill out their applications with a bunch of lies and you have your certification. AKC has been known to register dead female dogs and breeders will register a mixed litter under the name of this dead female dog and the AKC will approve it. It is cruel that this man feels the need to tatoo his innocent pet but for what reason? The poor thing is probably not pure bred anyway.
