Two Die Skydiving Accident in Florida
Two skydivers from Iceland lost their lives in a tragic accident in Florida on Saturday, March 23, 2013, according to Reuters. The two men, one an instructor and another a student, were part of a large group of 22 skydivers.
The group of 22 skydivers jumped from plan in Zephyrhills, which is about 30 miles northeast of Tampa, Florida, according to the Tampa Tribune newspaper.
Authorities set out and launched a search when only 20 of the the skydiving party returned. Florida media said, they eventually ended up finding the bodies of the two men a few hours later.
The identities of the men were not released by the police.
All that is really known about the two men is that they were both from Iceland, according to Skydive City. The Tribune reports that Skydive City is the organization that planned the jump for the rather large group.
