Princeton Gives Away Houses For Free, Right Now!
Princeton University will soon be erecting the Arts and Transit Project on its campus and its construction will starts by early Spring 2013. With the Regional Planning Board of Princeton’s approval of the project in December, the site is being prepared for construction. Some University-owned buildings along Alexander Street have already been marked for demolition, and the Princeton University is giving the houses for free.
Some of the buildings were vacant and University offices in other buildings have been relocated.
There is no specific deadline for taking up Princeton’s offer. But those who want a free house must apply as soon as possible, before work on the project commences, and the houses need to be moved by the end of April. According to Mbugua, there have been many interested candidates, but no one has actually offered to move a house off the University property yet.
