Chocolate Bar Resume Photo Goes Viral
Who does not want to take a bite in this chocolate bar resume? A photo of a choco bar wrapped with unusual labels was first posted on Reddit and it has become viral. It is called the “Resume Bar” and a motto that reads “Credentials that will satisfy any organization’s appetite.”
Instead of the usual amounts of percent daily value you see on a label, the resume bar has 110% Work Ethic, 100% Work Ethic, 100% Leadership, 100% Creativity, 100% Motivation.
“This version of the candy bar resume was used for a 2009 job search when the economy was crashing, so I knew I had to differentiate myself from other applicants,” my buddy Nick Begley, the maker of the chocolate resume, said. “It was a way to (hopefully) showcase my creativity, create a bit of a buzz in the department that was hiring and—most importantly—help me stand out in a competitive job market.”
