68 Pythons Found and Killed in Florida Everglades Challenge (VIDEO)
After weeks of scouring Florida’s Everglades for the ‘Python Challenge’, 68 pythons have been found and killed. The challenge was launched to harvest the deadly everglades invader pythons off Florida’s fragile ecosystem.

In the amateur category, Brian Barrows of Fort Myers, Florida, won a $1,500 grand prize for killing six pythons. In the professional category, Ruben Ramirez of Miami won the same amount for killing 18 snakes.
Paul Shannon, from Florida, caught the longest python measuring 14 feet, 3 inches, and he took home $1,000.
