Lent 2013: When is Ash Wednesday 2013?

Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent in Western Christianity. Ash Wednesday 2013 falls this week, February 13.

Lent is a season of preparation, of penitence, which is why in some areas they get one last blow-out done concluding with “Fat Tuesday.”
