Amanda Knox Interview With Diane Sawyer in April
ABC’s Diane Sawyer will have the chance to interview Amanda Knox, the U.S. college student who was cleared of murdering her British roommate, Meredith Kercher by an Italian court after four years in prison.
Knox was convicted of murder in 2007 and was sentenced to 26 years in prison. She won her appeal in 2011 and came back to the U.S. in October 2011.
It is expected that in her first TV interview, she will reveal details of her ordeal inside Italy’s prison cell.
The interview is scheduled for broadcast on April 30. Her book “Waiting to Be Heard: A Memoir” will also be released on that day. Pre-order on Amazon for a 35% discount: Waiting to Be Heard: A Memoir.
