Menu With $110 Dirt in French Restaurant “Ne Quittez Pas”
It may be just a dirt, but it is something special because it goes to your plate. When you visit the French restaurant “Ne Quittez Pas” in Tokyo, Japan, do not be surprised to see the menu with $100 dirt meal listed.
The dirt is said to be a special black soil from Kanuma, Tochigi Prefecture. It has been tested safe for eating.
In the official website, it says “the ingredients are so natural and nourishing that you’ll say “delicious” without even thinking.
The chef Toshio Tanabe is very particular on pure taste of ingredients. No wonder he goes for the dirt meal.
So the meal consists of a dirt soup, a vegetable salad with dirt sauce, a dirt risotto, a dirt ice cream and dirt gratin. How will that satisfy your palate?
