Iron Age Skeleton Exposed After Storm In Shetland Islands
An Iron Age skeleton has been exposed after a storm hit the Shetland Islands in Scotland. According to a report from MSNBC, the bones could be from a 2,000-year-old human.
Local archaeologist Chris Dyer said the ancient skeleton looked as if it were contemporary with the remains of Iron Age structures revealed in a nearby site.
Officials will now use radiocarbon dating to confirm the skeleton’s age.
