Padma Lakshmi Diet: Cleansing Juice Recipe
Have you ever wondered what consists Padma Lakshmi’s diet? The 42-year-old host of Top Chef uploaded personal recipes on her blog, sharing how she keeps trim.
Her diet recipe included: ‘Simply combine 2 ounces of pure, unsweetened cranberry juice, 6 ounces of water, and 1 packet of Emergen-C in the flavor of your choice.
What she eats for breakfast? ‘I scramble 3 egg whites and 1 yolk, and then add ½ tablespoon of Tabasco. To top off the meal, I eat half a grapefruit without any added sweeteners.’

Cleansing juice:
– Two ounces of pure, unsweetened cranberry juice
– Six ounces of water
– One packet of Emergen-C in the flavor of your choice
Breakfast:
– Three egg whites and on yolk, scrambled
– Half a tablespoon of Tabasco
– Half a grapefruit without any added sweeteners
‘Small amounts of potatoes or rice are also fine, but it should be kept to a minimum. If you follow this poem for the entire month of January, not only will you feel clearheaded but you will also most certainly lose weight,’ she wrote.
