Xfinity Connect Mail Comcast Problems

There seems to be some problems with the Comcast server for the Xfinity mail. Some users can receive email but cannot send it.

The error message is something like this: The server “smtp.comcast.net” cannot be contacted on port 587.

Does anyone has a solution yet? Post a comment if you have one.
