Field of Dreams Sold and Ready For “All-Star Ballpark Heaven”

Go the Distance Baseball LLC purchased a 193-acre cornfield property for $3.4 million in 2011. That cornfield happened to be the famous property where the movie “Field of Dreams” was filmed. Go the Distance announced that the property will be converted in a 24-field youth baseball and softball complex called All-Star Ballpark Heaven.

The construction is set to this spring and the new owners hope to open for games by 2014.
