Google Logo Blackout To Stop SOPA and PIPA

Google is also against the proposed Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and Protect IP Act (PIPA), which the Senate will begin voting on January 24th. The two acts would censor the Web and impose harmful regulations on American business. Millions of Internet users and entrepreneurs already oppose SOPA and PIPA.

Wikipedia is already in a blackout mode. The blackout will last 24 hours – from midnight to midnight EST (05:00 UTC Wed to 05:00 UTC Thu).

Google invites everyone to sign the petition to let Congress know to end piracy not liberty.
