School Cancellations and Closings in Tennessee From News Channel 5

News Channel 5 provided a list of the current school cancellations and closings in Tennessee due to the weather condition. The National Weather Service posted a winter weather advisory in effect from noon to midnight Thursday for Cannon, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, DeKalb, Fentress, Grundy, Jackson, Macon, Overton, Pickett, Putnam, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, White and Wilson counties.

Forecasters said snow showers are likely statewide Thursday and Thursday night and accumulating snow is expected in Middle Tennessee and East Tennessee.
