TMZ reported that comedian Russell Brand filed the divorce papers from his wife singer Katy Perry on Friday, in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple has been married for a little over a year.
The pair has celebrated their holidays apart.
“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage,” Brand said, according to AP wires. “I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”
