Fighting About It

We are constantly getting into fights about the DIRECT TV and it’s because my husband wants to watch nothing but sports and I want to watch reality TV. I know he doesn’t get why I like it so much but for me it’s all about getting involved in the characters and really seeing myself in their plight.
I don’t know, even the really “bad” reality shows to me are far better than any football or basketball game but he would NEVER tell you that – he’s a true sports fan at heart. I don’t know how we ever ended up together because we really are so different in so many respects and our hobbies and interests are a couple of the biggest. I just can’t imagine why people think it’s necessary to spend their weekends cheering for some sports team rather than outside exercising themselves but I guess I don’t really have a leg to stand on since I’m constantly watching reality shows. That’s just what I like and I don’t think I have to apologize!
