How to Chat Using Facebook Skype Video Feature – Start Here

The Facebook Skype Video chat feature is now ready for public use. Facebook announced the new feature on Wednesday. So how to chat using the new Facebook Skype video feature?

Here are few steps to start the video chat (guide with pictures):

1. You need to visit www.facebook.com/videocalling to activate the video chat.

2. Click the button “Get Started”.

3. A list of friends available for video chatting will appear. You will be asked “who do you want to call?”

4. Pick a friend. Then something like the one below will appear. Click the “video call” button.

5. Now a window will appear asking you to set-up the video chat. Click “set up.”

6. Click “save” when this window appears.

7. The file is now saved in your PC. Find the file (it is named “FacebookVideoCallSetup_v1.2.199.0”). Once you find it, double click the file to run and install the program. Now wait while the program is being installed.

8. Once the installation window disappears, automatically Facebook will connect you to your friend.

9. Now you are connected with the Facebook Skype video chat. If your friend hasn’t installed the program yet, he will also be asked to install it.
