Minot North Dakota Flood Warnings
A mandatory evacuation has been issued to residents of Minot, North Dakota affected by flooding. The Souris River is expected to hit nearly 1,563ft (476m) above sea level this weekend, topping the previous flood record set in 1881.

June 22:
The sirens in the City of Minot have been sounded. Residents in the evacuation zones should evacuate immediately.
June 21:
A Mandatory Evacuation has been ordered for ALL RESIDENTS in the original evacuation zones. All residents in these zones need to be out of their homes on Wednesday evening (6/22) by 6:00 p.m.
Due to trucks hauling clay to build up the dikes, Burdick Expressway will be closed from 6th Street SW to 16th Street SW. More road closure information will be added as soon as it becomes available.

I feel so bad for the people having to deal with the flood. One of my relatives lives out there and she said it’s pretty terrible, they’ve evacuated like 12,000 people. My heart goes out to everyone there.
