Glen Campbell admitted in an interview with People that he has Alzheimer’s Disease. The Grammy-winner, and singer of the popular Rhinestone Cowboy had been suffering from short-term memory loss for years, but the Alzheimer’s diagnosis only came six months ago.
“Glen is still an awesome guitar player and singer,” says wife Kim. “But if he flubs a lyric or gets confused on stage, I wouldn’t want people to think, ‘What’s the matter with him? Is he drunk?’ ”
