Yuma Arizona Shooting – Five Killed

Five people were declared dead in a series of shootings in Yuma, Arizona, according to BBC.

Schools and a courthouse near the scene were locked down following the shootings that began on Thursday morning, police told the Associated Press news agency.

The Yuma Sun newspaper reported another person was injured. City officials told the paper the shootings were linked.

Yuma is a desert town about 20 miles north of the Mexico border.

One of the dead was lawyer Jerrold Shelley, the Yuma newspaper reported.
