Bath Salts Drug Epidemic

Bath Salts are not the ones you use for baths — no, not those water-soluble, solid products designed to be added to your bath.

Bath Salts are drugs that can easily be bought, taken and abused. The drugs have chemicals that can cause hallucinations, paranoia, a rapid heart rate and suicidal thoughts, authorities say.

Are Bath Salts legal? Yes, it is still legal to be sold in the U.S. The same chemicals in the so-called ‘bath salts’ have also been sold as plant food, pond scum cleaner, and insecticide.
