iPad 2 Announcement – iPad 2 Release Date
Apple finally made the iPad 2 announcement today in San Francisco. CEO Steve Jobs said “We’ve been working on this product for a while and I didn’t want to miss it.” He said that in nine months in 2010, Apple sold 15 million iPads.
Regarding the iPad 2, he said “It’s dramatically faster. It has a new chip called A5. It’s dual-core, so we get twice as fast performance on the cpu and nine times better graphics performance.”
