Look at the 2012 Olympics logo below and tell me what you see. Do you see “2012” or do you see the word “Zion”. If you ask me, I only see numbers 2.0.1.2. and nothing else, but for Iran the design resembles the word “Zion,” which is a biblical term for Jerusalem. Iran thinks it is racist.
Iran’s Olympic Committee also urged other Muslim states to contest the logo.
