Twitter Down and Twitter Outage Stops the News

It looks like world news stopped when suddenly Twitter was down around 5:00 AM EST today. Twitter outage has stopped the millions of tweets being posted on the popular social media each day. Twitter acknowledge the error saying:

“You may experience some problems loading twitter.com and with Twitter clients. We are aware of the problem and are taking action.”

Update: Twitter is back and running smooth.
