Solar Flare 2011 Dates and Time

Watch out for the massive Solar Flare 2011 that is heading toward Earth and is expected to arrive on Feb. 17-18, according to a report from BBC.

The solar flares happening this Thursday and Friday could be one of the largest to occur since 2006.

According to the U.S. National Weather Service says that geomagnetic storms resulting from solar flares like these can last 24 to 48 hours.
