Kyocera Echo Smartphone from Sprint
Will Sprint unveil the Kyocera Echo smartphone later today? Sprint will be having a big announcement regarding a new device, which is rumored to be the dual-screen Echo from Kyocera Corp.
The Wall Street Journal says:
Sprint Nextel Corp. plans to unveil a smartphone late Monday that includes a twin set of touch screens that give the device a pseudo-tablet design, according to a person familiar with the device.
The device, called the Echo and made by the U.S. unit of Japan-based Kyocera Corp., features two 3.5-inch touch screens that can be stacked side by side.
Update: Kyocera Echo has been unveiled by Sprint today. It will be available from Sprint later this spring for $199.99 with a two-year contract.
