Filipino Danica Flores Magpantay is Ford Supermodel of the Year 2011

Filipino Danica Flores Magpantay has been named the 2011 Ford Supermodel of the Year in New York Saturday night. She won $250,000 modeling contract.

Danica Flores Magpantay is a 17-year-old UP Fine Arts student. She is 5’9″ tall and weighs 109 lbs.

This is the first time a Philippine representative won the prestigious model search.

First runner-up was Lithuania, whose representative won a US$150,000 modeling contract while second runner-up, Poland, took home US$100,000. Representatives from Brazil and Poland rounded up the Top 5.
