Vermont Bus Crash Injures Student

A tour bus carrying college students from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst to Quebec City in Canada for a ski trip, crashed on a Vermont highway Friday, injuring at least 30 passengers, officials said.

The bus was traveling on Interstate 91 near Brattleboro in southern Vermont when it crashed, closing the highway’s southbound lanes, police said.

Three people were listed in critical condition.
