Chicago Weather Update: A rare late October Tornado Watch has been issued until 11AM this Tuesday morning for the entire Chicago area. A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected to race across northern Illinois between 4AM and 8AM.

Damaging winds, as well as a few tornados will be possible with these storms.

Updates from the Chicago Weather Center:

UPDATE 8:12AM: We just received another report of a possible tornado touchdown near Racine, WI. Trees are uprooted and on top of homes in Sturtevant, WI and Racine. A telephone pole is down and there is shingle damage to homes.

UPDATE: 8:07AM: The Will County emergency manager has relayed a preliminary report of a tornado touchdown 4 miles east of Peotone, IL. Damage has occurred to a home on South Will Center Road and possibly other homes in the area.
