Tropical Storm Hermine Path is Heading Texas

A new tropical storm in the western Gulf, Hermine, prompted hurricane watches from Rio San Fernando, Mexico, north to Baffin Bay in Texas. Tropical Storm Hermine is the 8th named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season.

With winds at 50 mph, Hermine is expected to approach land tonight and could bring four to eight inches of rain to South Texas, with some places getting a foot of rain. Forecasters said flash floods and mudslides are possible.
