Appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman last Tuesday night, Michael Douglas looks happy and tough. The 65-year-old Oscar-winning actor told Letterman that he has a stage 4 throat cancer.

Michael Douglas will undergo radiation and chemotherapy to treat the tumor at the base of his tongue in the coming months.
