Stingray Barb Almost Kills Quentin Tokar
The parents of Quentin Tokar, 10, tell TODAY’s Meredith Vieira that they thought they were going to lose their son after a stingray barb flew through the air and stabbed him in the stomach.
A 10 year old boy named Quentin Tokar appeared Thursday for the Today Show to inform his story on how he survived a stingray barb attack. This really is the exact same way “the Crocodile Hunter”, Steve Irwin, was attacked but sadly he didn’t survive the assault.
Quentin appeared on Tv wearing a t-shirt that said “Just take your best shot”, clearly creating an illusion of how he survived this deadly stingray strike.
The Tokar family members was vacationing in Outer Banks, N.C. once they saw a group of fishermen pulling a stingray out of the water. They had been trying to pull the barb out with the animal when surprisingly it was sent flying eight feet straight towards Quentin.
